Your Role
At Axonista, an award-winning video technology leader, we empower the world’s most innovative media companies and brands to create and launch dynamic interactive video experiences. Our platform supports everything from shoppable videos to streaming services, serving clients like QVC, HSN, WaterBear, Virgin Media, and the Irish Film Institute.
We are seeking a skilled Developer Advocate to enhance our Developer Experience on our platform. In this role, you will enable our Customers, Partners, and internal App teams to swiftly create impactful video-first applications across Web, Mobile, Smart TVs, and Set Top Boxes.
This position is fully remote, welcoming applications from Ireland, Croatia, or Spain.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and manage our Developer Hub, producing a variety of content including how-tos, articles, whitepapers, videos, blogs, and newsletters.
Gather and analyze feedback from partners, customers, and internal App Development teams.
Collaborate closely with the product team to enhance our platform features.
Assess developer platform and API/SDK usage to identify improvement opportunities.
Partner with Platform and App Dev teams to define new and upgraded SDKs.
Utilize friction logging and dog-fooding to drive forward the developer platform.
Act as a liaison for our developer community, offering technical support and guidance.
Work alongside our App Dev teams to produce best-practice sample code and applications to streamline the development of new apps on our platform.
Your Qualifications
As you join our multi-functional, multi-country teams with expertise in Web, Mobile, and OTT applications, you should ideally possess:
5+ years of experience in a technical role.
Proven experience as a Developer Advocate, DevRel, or Sales Engineer.
Familiarity with REST APIs and API integrations, along with knowledge of GraphQL.
Understanding of mobile app development methodologies.
Exceptional ability to write clear and impactful technical documentation.
A proactive approach to onboarding new developers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with developers effectively.
