Position: Sales Development Representative

Employment Type: Full-Time; M-F; 9-5 PST Time
Role Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and tenacious Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is eager to engage in outbound prospecting and effectively contribute to our sales pipeline. If you excel at overcoming objections, fostering relationships, and meeting sales targets, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect & Qualify Leads: Perform in-depth market research, compile targeted lead lists, and initiate cold outreach through calls, emails, and LinkedIn to secure qualified meetings.
- Handle Objections Like a Pro: Navigate objections confidently, reframing discussions to turn “I’m busy” into “Tell me more,” ensuring ongoing engagement from prospects.
- Collaborate with AEs: Work closely with Account Executives to progress opportunities, share insights about prospects, and ensure seamless transitions through the sales funnel.
- Drive Performance & Smash Targets: Regularly achieve (and surpass) weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs, including meetings booked, pipeline generated, and revenue influenced.
- Optimize Sales Process: Monitor outreach efforts, analyze conversion metrics, and provide feedback for continuous improvement in messaging and targeting.
- CRM & Data Hygiene: Ensure precise records in the CRM, logging all prospect interactions, notes, and next steps for transparency and follow-up.
Requirements:
- Proven Resilience & Confidence: Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure sales environments and maintains motivation despite rejection.
- Advanced Objection-Handling Skills: Quickly pivots, reframes value propositions, and keeps prospects interested even during challenging dialogues.
- Results-Oriented Mindset: Passionate about prospecting, pitching, and closing sales with a relentless commitment to achieving KPIs and driving revenue growth.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the insurance sector or strong knowledge of insurance products and terminology is a valuable asset.
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various buyer personas.
- Self-Starter & Team Player: Works independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
