Role overview
The UK Research Oversight Committee at Flatiron Health seeks clinicians or clinical academics with experience in outcomes research using real-world data, especially within oncology. Committee members evaluate research requests from academic, clinical, and industry partners who want access to Flatiron Health UK’s anonymized data products. Each application must clearly demonstrate public interest and patient benefit before approval.
What you will do
- Participate in regular committee meetings (typically monthly, schedule may vary) to review and discuss research applications.
- Assess both new and ongoing requests from external researchers seeking access to Flatiron Health UK real-world data products.
- Provide constructive feedback to applicants on their submissions.
- Review applications during meetings and asynchronously as needed.
- Attend meetings either in person or remotely, depending on arrangements.
Requirements
- Clinician or clinical academic background with experience using real-world data for outcomes research.
- Experience in oncology is required.
- Dedication to advancing cancer research and improving patient outcomes through data-driven work.

This is a remote position based in the UK.
