Our Structures Discipline is dedicated to high-quality performance evaluation and investigation, allowing you to make a significant impact in the field.Key Responsibilities Lead a talented team of structural engineers, designers, and technicians to produce comprehensive structural construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and construction administration for large-scale and complex projects. Design efficient system layouts while coordinating calculations and collaborating with other engineering disciplines. Conduct site visits to document and assess existing systems and building conditions for accurate cost estimation. Prepare precise technical specifications and rigorously review shop drawings and product submittals. Oversee construction site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications. Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines effectively. Foster and maintain strong client relationships through exemplary communication and service. Draft detailed Engineering Reports to support project documentation and client needs. Engage in specialized design projects and remain updated on the latest technical advancements in the field. Collaborate with regional managers on workload management and contribute to the preparation of business proposals for prospective projects. Qualifications A minimum of 15 years of experience in the consulting engineering sector. Exceptional writing and communication skills are essential. Proven track record of meeting project deadlines consistently. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State is required. Experience with Revit software is advantageous. Proficiency in project history using computer analysis software is crucial.
