Job SummaryThe Operations Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in designing, organizing, and executing training programs that promote safe, efficient, and standardized operations within our facility. This position is essential in ensuring that team members are equipped with the training necessary to comply with regulatory, safety, quality, and operational standards. The Coordinator collaborates closely with Operations, HR, Quality, and Safety teams to produce accurate training materials, maintain training records, and provide team members with the tools they need to excel in their roles.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Program Development & DeliveryCoordinate, schedule, and conduct training sessions for employee orientation, safety protocols, standard work practices, and operational competencies.Develop and revise training materials, manuals, visual aids, SOPs, and competency checklists.Facilitate practical training on the production floor to ensure comprehensive understanding and skill mastery.Training Compliance & DocumentationEnsure the accuracy of training records, certifications, and requalification schedules in accordance with company and regulatory standards.Conduct audits of training documentation to confirm completeness and precision.Guarantee adherence to OSHA, food safety, and company training standards.Operational Support & Continuous ImprovementCollaborate with operations leadership to identify skill gaps and necessary training interventions.Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating new processes, equipment, or operational changes into training programs.Aid in the development of cross-training initiatives to enhance labor flexibility and workforce capability.Communication & CoordinationAct as a liaison among Operations, Quality, Safety, HR, and other departments to synchronize training expectations.Communicate training program progress, completion rates, and identified gaps to leadership.Assist in onboarding coordination to ensure an enjoyable experience for new team members.Administrative ResponsibilitiesManage training calendars, classroom resources, training equipment, and learning environments.Support the Operations Training Manager with reporting, metrics, training audits, and continuous improvement strategies.Participate in safety initiatives, team meetings, and regulatory audits as required.Physical DemandsThe physical requirements outlined here represent those that must be met by a team member to effectively execute the essential functions of this role.
