Role responsibilities
This position involves close collaboration with academic staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating workshops for educators
- Advising academic teams on redesigning assessments
- Guiding institutions through pilot programs and enterprise rollouts
Pedagogical expertise is essential. The role requires strong knowledge of AI and the confidence to engage with experienced education professionals. Curiosity, forensic honesty, and steady confidence are valued, even when not all answers are immediately available.
Success measures
In the first year, success is defined by:
- Enhanced assessments led by academic staff. Share examples of improved briefs, impactful workshops, and faculty who have become advocates. Outcomes should be measurable and verifiable.
- Contract renewals based on results. Renewals should reflect real improvements for students and staff, not just strong relationships.
- Becoming a trusted expert for academics. Build relationships that move from support to trusted advisor, with senior academic leaders seeking input on assessment design from the start.
- Providing insights that inform product direction. Share observations and feedback with product and learning teams to highlight challenges and opportunities.
