What’s the Opportunity?
Intercom’s Fin leads the way in AI for Customer Service, and we are expanding this capability into a broader vision of Customer Agents that can seamlessly traverse the customer journey, initiating with the Sales Agent.
The Sales Agent represents a new product initiative for Intercom and a new target audience. As an Account Executive on the Customer Agent team, you will be instrumental in launching Sales Agent into the market, acquiring early customers, demonstrating ROI, and shaping the product’s positioning, packaging, and pricing as we transition from beta to a sustainable, scalable go-to-market strategy.
You will be part of a specialized “tiger team” focused on speed and learning, comprising a sales leader, a select group of expert AEs (including top performers from inside and outside the company), and dedicated Solution Engineering support.
This team operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Pricing teams to incorporate genuine customer insights into decision-making and quickly ascertain what resonates, converts, and what customers are willing to pay.
Your role will often act as a specialist overlay within existing Intercom accounts, where Core Relationship Managers handle overall account management. You will oversee the Sales Agent process, from discovery and evaluation design to ROI narratives and commercial discussions, while also addressing select inbound opportunities and targeting strategic accounts that align with our ideal customer profile.
