About the job
Saltz is building a single digital marketplace for culinary ingredients, connecting chefs directly with trusted producers. The company aims to simplify food distribution by removing hidden costs and barriers, giving chefs clear access to both local farms and international artisans. With €20M in Series A funding from top European investors, Saltz is expanding its reach and setting new standards for food sourcing.
This transparent platform lets chefs find and order fresh ingredients easily, while producers gain direct entry to a global market. The vision is to link many suppliers and chefs across cities, reshaping how food is sourced worldwide.
Role overview
The Account Executive (m/f/d) in Cracow will help transform how chefs and gastronomy businesses source their ingredients. This role focuses on growing accounts among restaurants and hospitality clients already working with Saltz, and introducing new partners to the platform.
Promoting Saltz means presenting a marketplace where chefs order close to the source, benefit from transparent pricing, and discover new products, all in one place. Experience in food supply, wholesale, or distribution, especially with HoReCa clients, is key. - Visit clients regularly to understand their needs, identify challenges, and show how Saltz can help.
- Find upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts by asking insightful questions and listening actively.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as chefs, general managers, and procurement teams to drive engagement and loyalty.
Requirements
