Qualifications

We're seeking individuals with at least 1 year of quota-carrying sales experience, demonstrating a proven track record of exceeding targets. Ideal candidates are proactive 'hunters' capable of self-sourcing leads, with prior experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) being a plus. You should excel in consultative selling, adept at uncovering customer pain points and aligning them with HubSpot's value propositions. Strong business acumen is essential, with experience selling to C-level executives and business owners being highly valued. Familiarity with high-velocity sales processes, where sales cycles range from 14 to 60 days, is critical, along with the ability to create urgency that leads to mutually beneficial outcomes.

Join our dynamic Small Business Sales team as an Account Executive, where you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, sourcing, and closing opportunities with small businesses in Canada, specifically those with 1-50 employees. This is your chance to contribute to the growth of our new Canadian segment by developing and executing innovative strategies to penetrate and expand this burgeoning market. Utilizing exceptional consultative selling skills, you'll spend your days engaging with outbound leads, nurturing warm inbound leads, conducting discovery calls, showcasing HubSpot solutions, and negotiating contracts. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet team objectives and further HubSpot’s mission of empowering customers to achieve their growth goals.
