The Account Manager (AM) plays a critical role in managing the success, retention, and growth of their client portfolio throughout the customer lifecycle. AMs cultivate positive relationships with both internal teams (such as Account Executives) and external partners (dealer clients). As the primary liaison for dealerships and dealer groups, AMs ensure that clients derive significant value from their CarGurus subscription through effective performance analysis and technical support. They collaborate closely with Account Executives to stimulate growth within the existing customer base via product upgrades, new product sales, and renewals. By leveraging strong relationship management and proactive engagement, AMs aim to minimize dealership churn while enhancing product and service utilization.
