About the Role
As an Accounting Subject Matter Expert, you will leverage your academic and instructional expertise to enhance the development of xAI’s cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems. Your contributions will include high-quality accounting analyses and evaluations that support the training of AI models on intricate accounting principles. Collaborating closely with both technical and research teams, you will play a pivotal role in shaping new AI functionalities by assessing complex accounting scenarios and guiding model reasoning.
You will utilize your extensive knowledge in financial reporting, consolidations, internal controls, and U. S. GAAP to tackle challenging accounting issues akin to upper-division or graduate-level coursework. Your insights will directly impact the effectiveness with which AI systems interpret accounting standards and deliver accurate accounting judgments.
This position is ideal for faculty who excel in intellectually stimulating environments and are adept at engaging with evolving challenges, frameworks, and research objectives. Success in this role requires the ability to apply accounting theory with nuance while articulating your reasoning clearly, and adapting to iterative feedback, much like refining course materials or responding to new accounting guidelines.
