Stanbridge University is on the lookout for passionate and committed Adjunct Faculty members to contribute to our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at our Alhambra campus. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of nursing by providing exceptional education and mentorship to aspiring registered nurses.
We invite qualified candidates with recent clinical expertise in specialty areas such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics (Maternal–Newborn), Pediatrics, Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing, Community Health, and Nursing Leadership and Professional Practice to apply. Teaching assignments will be tailored to align with your clinical experience, program requirements, and availability.
As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a critical role in promoting student success through high-quality instruction in classroom settings, skills labs, and clinical environments. You will engage students through theoretical learning, practical skills training, and supervised clinical practice, ensuring they are prepared for safe, competent, and empathetic nursing careers.

High-Need Instructional Areas:
- Medical-Surgical Nursing (including acute/critical care)
- Obstetrics (Maternal–Newborn Nursing)
- Pediatrics
- Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing
- Community/Public Health Nursing
- Nursing Leadership, Professional Practice, or Capstone
- All specialty areas require a minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience in the relevant content area within the past five (5) years.
- Clinical experience must be documented and verifiable in accordance with institutional, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
