About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive Advisory Manager to lead a dynamic team of financial planning associates. In this pivotal role, you will ensure high-quality support for our advisors while balancing client service and team management responsibilities. This includes performance monitoring and adherence to compliance and planning standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the work of Planning Associates to efficiently deliver financial planning outputs to advisors.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of planning work by enforcing best practices and review protocols established by the Planning Associate Team Lead.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and ongoing feedback to Planning Associates to foster their professional growth.
- Address daily personnel needs, including scheduling and workload distribution, with the support of the Planning Associate Team Leader.
- Communicate departmental goals and expectations, guiding team members in their execution.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to offer coaching, support professional development, and ensure alignment of goals.
- Monitor progress towards team and individual SMART goals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform annual performance reviews and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of team members' development.
- Collaborate with HR and the Planning Associate Team Leader to support career advancement initiatives.
