The Role
Imagine a scenario where a team member in Slack requests Viktor to reconcile their Stripe payouts against their financial records. Viktor accomplishes this in under a minute, leading to new customer sign-ups. Your mission will be to enhance Viktor's capabilities, making it more dependable and effective for an expanding customer base. You will build an agent that sets the standard for others to follow.
In Warsaw, product development, growth, and engineering collaborate closely. You will work alongside customer-facing teams, directly interact with our founders, take ownership of product features, and witness your code in production on the same day it is written.
What You'll Do
Develop the agent runtime. This involves sandboxed execution, orchestrating tools, and managing memory – the core of Viktor that transforms requests into real actions via APIs.
Implement integrations. We connect to a multitude of tools like Salesforce, Notion, and Stripe. Your expertise will be key in implementing OAuth, webhooks, schema mapping, and error handling, with each integration opening new avenues for customer engagement.
Manage infrastructure. Viktor processes over 600K tool calls daily. You will be responsible for ensuring it remains fast and cost-effective through container orchestration and autoscaling.
Deliver product features. Your work will directly reach users through Slack and Teams, allowing you to see immediate impact.
Contribute to various projects. As part of a small team, you’ll engage in diverse tasks that may not be detailed in this document.
Success Metrics
You will know you’re succeeding when you are consistently shipping to production, with your contributions reflected in the changelog. A feature you developed leads to a customer win, and you can troubleshoot issues at any hour due to your comprehensive understanding of the system. Founders will rely on your expertise as you take over responsibilities they once held.
Qualifications
Proficient coding skills. You possess a solid grasp of coding principles and practices, particularly in building scalable applications.
Integration experience. Familiarity with various APIs and tools, with a proven track record of successful integration projects.
Strong problem-solving abilities. You can quickly analyze and resolve technical issues as they arise.
