The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking an Aircraft Stress Engineer – Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (f/m) to become a vital part of our aerostructures design office located in Mirabel, Quebec. In this position, you will assess the structural integrity of critical components.
As a member of the Stress Analysis team, you will play a key role in validating the structural performance of the Airbus A220. Our team is structured to encourage cross-collaboration, autonomy, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
- Provide recommendations on design concepts and aircraft structure repairs
- Develop fatigue spectra
- Validate damage tolerance analyses with experimental results
- Support the development of maintenance manuals in collaboration with technical publications and maintenance engineering teams
- Engage with suppliers to ensure adherence to program methodologies and technical requirements
- Review supplier reports and analyses
- Prepare certification reports
