G MASS is excited to partner with a rapidly expanding Investment Bank in search of an AMLA Consultant to contribute to a significant regulatory initiative. This role is pivotal in bridging advisory and execution functions, guiding the organization in interpreting and applying the requirements established by the Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLA).
This is a contract position situated in a dynamic, change-oriented environment that promises extensive exposure to stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the firm's regulatory strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders across compliance, risk, and operations on AMLA requirements, transforming regulatory expectations into practical, actionable business processes.
- Evaluate existing AML/CFT frameworks to identify discrepancies with AMLA supervisory standards, offering practical and scalable recommendations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of controls, governance structures, and reporting frameworks that align with EU regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to integrate regulatory requirements into systems, workflows, and operational models.
- Serve as a pivotal liaison between senior stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding and alignment on regulatory interpretations and delivery strategies.
- Contribute to the wider regulatory strategy by providing insights on AMLA developments and aiding in the creation of a proactive compliance roadmap.
