About the Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a skilled and adaptable Analytics Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your advanced analytical skills to derive actionable insights from raw data. The right candidate will possess a solid foundation in data engineering, analytics, and machine learning, enabling them to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain intricate data models within our Snowflake data warehouse, employing dbt (Data Build Tool) to construct effective data pipelines and transformations.
- Snowflake Intelligence Integration: Utilize the features of Snowflake Intelligence (such as Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, Cortex Search, AISQL) to implement conversational data queries and AI-driven insights within our data environment. Develop AI solutions that utilize these capabilities to glean valuable business insights.
- Advanced SQL & Analysis: Craft and execute sophisticated SQL queries to manipulate and retrieve complex datasets. Analyze large datasets to reveal patterns, trends, and opportunities, guiding strategic decision-making.
- Business Intelligence (BI): Create, maintain, and optimize Looker dashboards and LookML to effectively present data insights. Use Looker’s conversational analytics and data agent features to empower stakeholders to engage with data through natural language queries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and deliver data-driven solutions. Spot opportunities for the integration of AI/ML/NLP technologies in collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams.
