Job Overview:
The Applications Engineer role, located at Zeeco’s Headquarters in Tulsa, OK, is a pivotal position focused on understanding and managing all aspects of Zeeco’s product offerings, particularly the Power Burner product line. This role involves comprehensive proposal management, ensuring our clients receive the most competitive and complete offerings possible, maximizing our potential for contract awards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and interpret customer inquiries and specifications to recommend suitable equipment for their applications.
- Conduct site visits to customer facilities to provide support and gather information necessary for technical reviews and proposal development.
- Collaborate on technical development and risk assessments related to customer inquiries.
- Create detailed cost estimates in accordance with established protocols.
- Establish product pricing based on management’s mark-up and commission schedules.
- Identify and coordinate the completion of necessary drawings for quotations.
- Draft, revise, and send formal quotes to customers.
- Maintain communication with customers during the quotation process, following up on both written and verbal correspondence.
- Engage with customers after proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate details.
- Provide management with regular status updates on the proposal processes and activities.
- Assist in developing and modifying sales presentations and documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, and various web-based systems.
- Work with management to identify and enhance skills and tools necessary for ongoing performance improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned that align with skills and experience.
