About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Manager to oversee and enhance the management and monitoring of our Point Offices/Branches in the Kendal area. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our branches achieve their KPIs effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all branch KPIs are met, including:
  • Driving the growth of portfolio quality and quantity in alignment with Amartha's strategic goals.
  • Overseeing recruitment processes, partner services, and partner support according to standard operating procedures.
  • Implementing effective strategies for branch management and operations across the designated area.
  • Maintaining thorough and organized administration for all branch offices.
  • Ensuring smooth operational flow of branch offices by meeting licensing, infrastructure, and inventory requirements.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures among all branch staff.
  • Facilitating training and performance monitoring to ensure staff deliver their best work.
  • Managing human resources effectively to ensure branch operations run smoothly.
  • Driving the expansion plans set by Amartha successfully.
  • Ensuring portfolio quality aligns with Amartha's objectives and audit expectations.
  • Promoting transparency and open communication within the branches.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven experience in leading at least two branches.
  • Experience managing a team of 5-10 members.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Micro Finance in roles such as Coordinator, Supervisor, Branch Head, or Area Manager.
  • Ability to develop effective sales and marketing strategies to meet targets.
  • Must own a motorcycle and possess a valid SIM C.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Kendal area.
