About This Role:

Crusoe Energy is on the lookout for a seasoned Area Project Controls Manager to lead and oversee multiple large-scale construction initiatives that support our rapidly expanding AI and energy infrastructure platform. This position involves working at both the project execution level and the overall program governance level, ensuring accountability, uniformity, and adherence to best practices in areas such as cost, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.

As the Area Project Controls Manager, you will guide a team of cost and project control professionals, collaborate closely with onsite vendors, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and our clients, providing clear, data-driven insights into financial and scheduling performance across designated areas or programs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives, budgets, and timelines.

  • Promote standardization and best practices in cost management, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting.

  • Lead and manage a team of cost managers responsible for:

    • Monthly cost reporting

    • Cash flow forecasting

    • Change and risk management

    • Review of pay applications

    • Client billing submissions

  • Evaluate overall cost and schedule health across assigned areas or programs, proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Deliver clear and actionable financial and scheduling insights to senior leadership and clients.

  • Oversee critical deliverables and performance of onsite vendors providing cost management and scheduling services.

  • Support program-level governance by ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent reporting across all projects.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with construction, engineering, and other teams to achieve project success.
