As the Assistant Shift Manager - Slots at Encore Boston Harbor, you will play a key role in assisting the management of daily operations within the Slot Department. This includes supervising the operational staff, coordinating slot machine relocations, modifications, installations, and upgrades, while also monitoring the performance of the slot floor. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all gaming activities comply with gaming regulations, while also maximizing departmental success and ensuring exceptional guest and team member experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold Encore Boston Harbor's core values and departmental standards.
- Contribute to the development and execution of departmental goals and policies, while assessing operational effectiveness and initiating necessary improvements.
- Assist in daily departmental operations, ensuring policy accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness.
- Support team member performance management and engagement, fostering a motivating work environment.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, ensuring high service levels and guest satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication within the department and across the property through regular meetings.
- Provide training, constructive feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
- Stay informed about departmental developments and recommend strategies for success.
- Manage guest relations with professionalism and tact, addressing concerns as needed.
- Effectively prioritize multiple tasks in high-pressure situations.
