We are excited to welcome an Associate Development Manager to our dynamic Development team. This role is perfect for an ambitious real estate professional in the early stages of their career, bringing experience in construction, development, or asset management. You will play a vital role in crafting best-in-class retail environments, collaborating closely with senior development leaders and cross-functional teams to facilitate the planning, design, and execution of intricate development and redevelopment projects.
This position provides an invaluable opportunity to engage with the entire lifecycle of real estate development, from initial planning and entitlement phases through construction and final project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Development Managers and senior leadership in the successful execution of ground-up development and redevelopment projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including leasing, design, marketing, operations, finance, and asset management, to ensure seamless alignment throughout the development process.
- Engage closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors to facilitate project timelines, deliverables, and overall project execution.
- Review construction drawings, plans, and documentation to support coordination and ensure alignment with design intent and development objectives.
- Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and construction coordination sessions with contractors and consultants.
- Assist in monitoring project schedules, budgets, and milestones while identifying potential risks or delays.
- Support financial analysis, underwriting, and the preparation of internal development updates and investment materials.
- Help manage project documentation, contracts, and communications with external partners.
- Assist in project delivery and the transition from construction to operations, ensuring developments launch seamlessly and meet our high standards for quality and execution.
