Qualifications:Willingness to relocate: Must be open to relocation, ideally nationwide but at least regionally (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West Coast). Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high volume and quality. Experience leading teams of over 50 associates with a strong focus on employee development. Demonstrated capability to tackle urgent operational challenges through effective problem-solving. Exceptional communication skills. Minimum of 8 years of management experience in either automotive or lean manufacturing settings. Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record over the past 3 years. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform various tasks in a dynamic environment.

Carvana seeks an Associate General Manager to oversee reconditioning operations in Oklahoma City. This leadership position centers on achieving production targets and supporting the ongoing success of the Inspection & Reconditioning Center.

Main responsibilities

  • Direct multiple reconditioning lines and coordinate production plans across full shifts.
  • Take full responsibility for facility performance when the General Manager is absent, with a focus on meeting or surpassing production, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, investigate their causes, and collaborate with leadership to develop and implement solutions.
  • Lead weekly performance reviews with senior leadership to monitor progress, address challenges, and establish action plans.
  • Facilitate daily manager meetings to set priorities and sustain a productive work environment.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement projects both on site and regionally, and train teams on updated processes.
  • Support the development of Reconditioning Leads and Managers by offering feedback and guiding their growth plans.
  • Demonstrate Carvana’s core values through effective leadership, teamwork, and clear communication.
  • Adhere to all Carvana operational standards and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and loss prevention requirements.
