Minimum Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering is required.• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a relevant field.• Licensure: E. I. T. certification preferred; possessing a PE license is a plus.• Technical Skills: Proficient in P&ID development, heat and material balances, hydraulic and equipment sizing calculations, relief device sizing, API standards, and ASME codes. Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) is preferred.• Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in coordinating efforts across multiple engineering disciplines.• Other Skills: Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities are essential.

Main responsibilities

  • Assess process units through on-site visits and technical reviews.
  • Perform calculations and prepare key engineering documents, such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Create design documentation to support later engineering phases, specify equipment, and develop scope of work packages for construction teams.
  • Work directly with clients and construction partners, contribute during meetings, and prepare detailed written reports.
  • Provide technical support during field execution, including outage and turnaround projects.
