As an Associate Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, updating, and peer-reviewing comprehensive technical user guides, programming manuals, and product documentation for our state-of-the-art data security software. Your role includes providing editorial support for product descriptions, release notes, corporate security policies, performance reports, and white papers that illustrate various use cases of Protegrity's solutions. If you possess a strong technical background, exceptional command of the English language, and a passion for crafting and refining technical documentation, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, write, edit, and publish both new and existing product documentation tailored for a sophisticated security technology audience.

  • Collaborate with the Documentation Manager to peer review, restructure, optimize, and enhance the product documentation suite.

  • Mentor junior writers in documentation practices and strategies.

  • Interpret product specifications and seamlessly integrate them into documentation.

  • Engage with Product Management, R&D, and QA teams to gather comprehensive documentation requirements.

  • Conduct interviews with R&D and QA teams to accurately interpret product specifications.

  • Research and collate information to develop an in-depth understanding of our product technologies.

  • Design graphics and illustrations, including process and data flow diagrams.

  • Contribute content for presentations, white papers, web pages, and other materials as needed.
