Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Auto Body Painter/Prepper to join our dynamic team at CSN Collision. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for the painting process, which encompasses essential tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking. This position not only offers the chance to showcase your talents but also presents potential career advancement opportunities within our paint department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sand vehicle surfaces utilizing sandpaper, grinders, or other tools to achieve a flawless finish for painting
  • Apply masking tape and paper to safeguard areas of the vehicle that are not designated for painting
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion
  • Eliminate dirt, debris, and imperfections from surfaces to guarantee a high-quality paint application
  • Assist in mixing paint and primers in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Support the operation and maintenance of painting equipment and tools
  • Work collaboratively with the painting team to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold quality standards
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager
