Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a valid driver's license. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Position Overview:

CSN Collision is seeking a detail-oriented Auto Body Prepper/Painter who will play a crucial role in our paint department. This position involves preparing vehicles for the painting process, including sanding, priming, and masking, with opportunities for growth within our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Smooth vehicle surfaces using various tools such as sandpaper and grinders to prepare for painting.
  • Apply masking materials to protect areas of the vehicle not intended for painting.
  • Clean, sand, and prime surfaces to ensure optimal painting conditions.
  • Ensure paint adheres correctly by removing dirt and imperfections.
  • Assist in mixing paint and primers to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Help in operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools.
  • Work collaboratively with the painting team to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
