Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto body repair and refinishing is required. Preferred candidates will possess an Auto Body Collision and Damage Repairer (310B) Red Seal License (310Q) or be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program. Technicians with I-Car and OEM certifications will be given preference. I-Car Welding certification is mandatory.

We are actively seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to become an integral part of our dedicated team. The primary responsibility of this role is to restore damaged vehicles to their pre-collision condition with precision and care.

  • Analyze damage reports and repair cost estimates to formulate a comprehensive work plan.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of collision damage, assessing all exterior body parts and ensuring functionality of power accessories such as locks, windows, and mirrors, while confirming no warning lights are present on the dashboard.
  • Execute structural and complete body repairs: This includes the repair and replacement of front-end components, body parts, doors, frames, and underbody structures. Assess, repair, or replace both interior and exterior elements, including electrical components and vehicle accessories.
  • Straighten bent frames using advanced frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Utilize tools to hammer out dents, buckles, and other imperfections.
  • Dismantle damaged vehicle areas completely, including blend panels, to uncover hidden damage early in the repair process. This may involve removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills with appropriate tools and replacing them as needed.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Prepare auto body surfaces for painting by masking and taping; apply primers and repaint surfaces as required.
  • Utilize soldering equipment and plastic fillers to repair holes, dents, and seams effectively.
  • Restore vehicles to factory specifications: Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed manufacturer standards.
  • Inspect repaired vehicles and conduct test drives to ensure proper handling and performance.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and automotive repair procedures accurately.
  • Demonstrated capability to work with a variety of materials including metals, plastics, glass, and electrical components.
  • Experience with frame and measuring equipment, as well as vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
  • Willingness to adhere to standardized production processes and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
