Supported by Kia America, Inc., the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) is designed to facilitate your transition into the automotive service industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various Kia vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
  • Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests in alignment with established Kia and retailer policies.
  • Conduct test drives to analyze, diagnose, and repair vehicle components and systems utilizing Kia's specialized diagnostic tools and strategies.
  • Perform services and repairs promptly while collaborating with the shop foreman and service advisors to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
