Qualifications

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in Aircraft System Engineering, including requirement management, interface definitions, systems architecture layouts, MBSE, verification and validation, and configuration management (mandatory). Proficient in defining mechanical and electrical interfaces. Hands-on experience with Requirement Management tools (e.g., IBM Doors) and MBSE tools such as CAMEO, CAPELLA, or Enterprise Architect (mandatory). Modeling expertise in UML/SysML, with proficiency in Python and experience using Matlab/Simulink or other system modeling software in a professional context. Fluency in Portuguese and/or English (mandatory). Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and the ability to work independently, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative.

About the job

  • Conduct requirements analysis, decomposition, and derivation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance requirements specifications.
  • Systems Design: Create innovative solutions using methodologies such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and perform comprehensive trade-off analyses.
  • Integration of Systems, Interfaces, and Baseline Control: Manage parameters and technical databases, including configuration and change control for requirements and performance metrics.
  • System Testing: Develop a robust Test Plan and identify essential tools and documentation to carry out all activities related to system Validation and Acceptance.
  • Documentation: Prepare systems engineering documentation such as management plans and reports.
  • Technical Management Support: Assist in project governance through metrics, reporting, and risk and opportunity management.
  • Systems Security and Aircraft Certification: Provide support for activities related to systems security and aircraft certification.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively to enhance tools and processes while sharing knowledge and information.
