About the job:

As the Team Lead for the Back Office Loan Servicing team, you will be at the forefront of managing a dedicated group of operations associates responsible for executing essential business functions. This role is integral to our Legal Operations, encompassing areas such as Bankruptcy, Servicemembers Civil Relief (SCRA), Hardship applications, Recovery Vendor Payment applications, and more. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Solutions, you will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective execution of manual processes while supporting your team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily execution of critical operational processes related to Bankruptcy, SCRA, Hardship, and Recovery Vendor Payment applications.
  • Revise and enhance process documentation to minimize operational risks and optimize workflows.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Analytics, Operational Risk Management, and Fraud Operations to drive improvements and meet departmental objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of associates, removing obstacles and fostering their professional development.
  • Work with leadership to contribute to both short- and long-term strategies for the back-office team.
  • Collect and analyze data to provide informed operational recommendations that align with business objectives.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with third-party vendors that assist with Bankruptcy and Recovery Payments.
