Candidates must meet the following qualifications: A strong passion for supporting children with autism Exemplary patience and compassion, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, and a Tuberculosis test if not completed in the last year Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check Physical capability to perform various movements such as sitting, squatting, bending, etc. Capacity to lift and carry items or children weighing up to 50 pounds

Join our passionate team at Centria Autism as a Behavior Technician and play a vital role in transforming the lives of children with autism. In this fulfilling position, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the mentorship of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utilizing evidence-based strategies, you will help foster essential skills in communication, social interactions, and daily living while minimizing disruptive behaviors. This role seeks individuals who are dedicated to nurturing the potential of children with autism, demonstrating patience, empathy, and teamwork.

Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to support each child’s journey, even if you lack prior experience. The work can be physically demanding; therefore, you should be comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds as you engage actively with our clients.
