A genuine passion for working with children with autism Demonstrated patience, compassion, and teamwork skills Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED required Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year) Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check Physical capability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

In this fulfilling position, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention strategies under the expert supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll employ proven, evidence-based techniques to enhance their communication, social skills, and daily living abilities, while also addressing and minimizing challenging behaviors.

We're seeking candidates with a deep passion for supporting children with autism in achieving their full potential. Essential qualities include patience, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and equipped to assist each child, regardless of your prior experience.

Physical stamina is vital as you will engage actively with clients, standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and in some cases, lifting and carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This dynamic role is not for the faint-hearted, but the joy of making a meaningful impact in a child's life is profoundly rewarding.
