Position Overview

The Behavioral Health Technician / Counselor is responsible for offering direct supervision, therapeutic support, and structured daily routines for adolescent residents. This position emphasizes creating a safe and recovery-oriented environment while facilitating clinical programming and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise adolescent residents, supporting their daily routines and structured activities.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for residents.
  • Accurately observe, document, and report client behaviors and incidents.
  • Assist with daily living needs such as hygiene, meals, and health monitoring.
  • Conduct drug screenings following program protocols.
  • Engage in therapeutic and recreational programming.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical, medical, and leadership teams.
  • Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and respectful communication.
  • Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards within the residence.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support client care and program operations.
