Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Bid Manager to oversee and coordinate the comprehensive bid and RFP process for intricate and high-stakes commercial opportunities within our organization.
Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Operations, this role collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure timely and commercially viable bids that align with our pricing strategies, risk appetite, and go-to-market priorities.
The Bid Manager is instrumental in enhancing bid efficiency, consistency, and success rates, playing a central role in cross-functional commercial decision-making and fostering sustainable revenue growth in a regulated, multi-product environment.
This delivery-focused position measures success primarily through the quality, consistency, timeliness, and scalability of bid execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational delivery of end-to-end bid processes for complex RFPs, RFIs, and tailored commercial proposals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations to coordinate input for bid responses and manage the process comprehensively.
- Oversee bid timelines, inputs, reviews, approvals, and submissions to ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Ensure bids are commercially coherent and comply with approved pricing frameworks, product capabilities, and risk appetites.
- Apply commercial acumen to constructively challenge inputs, identifying gaps, risks, or inconsistencies, and escalating issues through defined governance routes as necessary.
- Maintain a repository of bid documentation and best practices to support continuous improvement.
