Hands-on experience generating leads within the Los Angeles metropolitan market. Strong background in mass targeting and lead generation. Professional experience in home services industries, including plumbing, electrical, construction, or renovation. Ability to communicate effectively with small business owners, contractors, and skilled trade professionals. Demonstrated capacity to identify decision-makers and navigate organizational gatekeepers. Strong objection-handling skills and the ability to overcome common sales resistance. Experience onboarding vendors onto digital marketplace platforms such as Angi, Thumbtack, or HomeAdvisor. Proficient in managing and updating Google Sheets or similar CRM systems for lead tracking. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Experience in executing multi-channel follow-up sequences across phone and email.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond just making calls; you will play a key role in developing the systems that facilitate vendor expansion.

You are an exceptional communicator with a persuasive tone, adept at cold calling and establishing relationships with trade professionals. Your self-driven and results-oriented mindset allows you to work efficiently with lead data and productivity tracking tools in a fast-paced startup environment. You possess strong sales instincts and the agility to tailor your messaging while maintaining engaging and professional interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with high-quality contractors actively serving Los Angeles County.
  • Perform outbound outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Create organized and segmented prospect lists by trade and service area.
  • Effectively present and communicate our marketplace value proposition.
  • Address and manage objections concerning competitors like Angi, Yelp, HomeAdvisor, and Thumbtack.
  • Qualify vendors based on geographical location, licensing, and reputation standards.
  • Guide approved vendors through a streamlined onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate tracking using Google Sheets or a CRM.
  • Deliver structured weekly performance updates.
