Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining professional video and audio post-production and broadcast systems, including hands-on management of Audio, Video, Grading, Graphics, Transcoding, Storage, Client and VM systems, network infrastructure, and broadcast systems. Proven team leadership and management experience. Familiarity with broadcast operations environments, including 2110, HD/SD, ASI, JPEG, SRT, and MPLS signals, along with troubleshooting capabilities for these signal paths. Experience in developing new and emerging Post Production, Media Management, and Broadcast processes. Ability to assist engineers and operators in the design, development, and deployment of new systems and processes. Support road map planning across multiple media systems and environments. Provide technical expertise and leadership across various systems and technologies. Offer hands-on support for a diverse range of Post and Broadcast systems.

NFL Media LLC is hiring a Broadcast/World Feed Production Engineering Associate for its team in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. This role supports the technical side of live broadcast production, working with both on-premises and cloud-based systems. The position covers a range of responsibilities, from equipment design and implementation to monitoring, maintenance, operation, and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of technical facilities and complex broadcast production systems, including both physical and cloud-based environments.
  • Operate and troubleshoot computer and intercom systems used in broadcast engineering.
  • Identify technical issues quickly and find alternative solutions to keep live productions running on schedule.
  • Learn and manage advanced workflows, especially for remote and cloud-based productions.
  • Work closely with the NFL World Feed Operations team to ensure reliable transmission and reception of live remote cloud production feeds.
  • Assist in training and supporting production staff on the correct use of equipment and systems.
  • Be available for evening and weekend shifts during the NFL season.
  • Adapt to a rotating 24/7 shift schedule as required.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends, especially during the NFL season. The role involves both hands-on technical work and collaboration with various production and operations teams.
