Qualifications

Qualifications:University degree with at least 4 years of experience in IT, or a non-university degree with a minimum of 7 years of IT experience. At least 3 years of experience in business analysis. Certification: Mandatory CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) or equivalent. Strong understanding of the current IT landscape and familiarity with the latest technologies. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Proficient analytical skills relevant to business analysis, including the ability to summarize large sets of information and solve problems. Excellent communication skills, including presentation abilities and active listening. Familiarity with industry best practices in Business Analysis, such as the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). Understanding of EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) principles.

Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst and become a key player in one of Europe's largest organizations located in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, document, prioritize, analyze, and validate business needs and solution requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to elicit and document business needs, ensuring alignment with solution requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive software requirement specifications and organize facilitating workshops.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with teams of system analysts, solution architects, developers, application testers, and technical writers to ensure a shared understanding of needs and robust technical design.
  • Create and maintain business analysis outputs, including use cases, requirements documentation, mockups, user stories, and data models.
  • Verify and validate requirements while managing traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain models using Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Draft user and system documentation and prepare training materials.
  • Support the testing team by providing insights during the creation and review of test plans and cases.
  • Assist business users in organizing applications according to information architecture best practices.
  • Support the project manager and step into the role of project manager when necessary.
