This role is essential in aligning business application processes with departmental objectives, thereby supporting performance metrics and ensuring compliance.
As a Business Applications Analyst, you will analyze requirements, define specifications, and identify integration opportunities to enhance our systems. Your responsibilities will include documenting workflows, recommending improvements, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. You will also develop test scenarios to guarantee quality and seamless application delivery, implement system enhancements for improved scalability and efficiency, and provide support for incident resolution, conducting root cause analysis, while ensuring clear communication and user satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Align business application processes with departmental goals.
- Provide insights on metrics related to performance, incidents, capacity, and availability to support operational transparency.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and security policies.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyze requirements, identifying integration opportunities.
- Define technical and functional specifications based on business analysis methodologies.
- Document current workflows and suggest improvements aligned with business objectives.
- Create and maintain both technical and non-technical documentation ensuring clarity and traceability.
- Translate feedback into technical specifications and develop testing criteria.
- Engage in testing activities by developing and executing test scenarios.
- Participate in issue investigations and change management processes for smooth transitions.
- Maintain UAT systems and perform regular updates from production platforms.
