Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager - FX Sales in London!
At Convera, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in selling complex financial products, including hedging solutions and foreign exchange (FX) services, from our London office.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential business clients to drive new customer acquisition within our Business to Business (B2B) division.
- Persuasively connect with a wide range of stakeholders, from startup founders to finance directors and CEOs of established corporations.
- Consult with clients to understand their currency needs, risk profiles, and payment solutions, securing long-lasting and profitable trading relationships.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and represent Convera at various online and offline events.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through client onboarding, before transitioning relationship management to our dedicated account management team.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Who You Are:
- A driven and ambitious professional with a strong sense of integrity and the tenacity to outshine competitors.
- Financially savvy, with a proven track record in new business sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in consultative selling and customer acquisition strategies (networking, trade shows, cold calling, etc.).
- Proficient in high-level corporate negotiations and nurturing long-term client relationships.
- Possessing essential knowledge in Foreign Exchange.
- Capable of working independently while also thriving in collaborative team settings, making swift decisions and managing timelines effectively.
- Experienced in achieving key performance indicators and individual targets across various time frames.
