About the Role

We are seeking a founding Business Development Manager to establish our outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) function from the ground up. This role requires designing the outbound motion, executing it initially, and eventually building and leading a team of BDRs. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Go-To-Market (GTM), Account Executives (AEs), and Revenue Operations (RevOps) to define ideal customer profiles, refine messaging, and generate a qualified sales pipeline.

If you possess experience in managing teams, have a proven track record in outbound sales, and are eager to own a crucial function in a company where your contributions matter, this opportunity is for you.

Location: New York, NY. Flatiron Office. In-person team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the outbound prospecting strategy, including defining target accounts and creating outreach sequences.
  • Initially conduct outbound outreach yourself via email, phone, and LinkedIn to validate the approach before transitioning to your team.
  • Own the pipeline metrics, ensuring accountability for the qualified meetings generated, both from your efforts and those of your team.

Team Building & Coaching

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing BDR team as the function scales.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
