What You Will Do
In the role of Business Development Representative (BDR) at OTIV, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base throughout Europe by identifying new business opportunities and generating leads. Your focus will primarily be on qualifying inbound leads and prospecting potential clients in the rail sector, ranging from railway operators to large industrial customers, thus helping to establish long-lasting partnerships. You will begin to forge relationships with C-level executives and collaborate closely with the Sales team, contributing significantly to OTIV's growth trajectory.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business leads through cold calls, emails, networking, and social selling.
- Research and identify potential clients among major rail operators, industrial customers, and rolling stock manufacturers.
- Arrange meetings and product demonstrations by engaging decision-makers and presenting OTIV's innovative solutions.
- Maintain and accurately update records of customer interactions and lead statuses in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Lead and Account Executives to refine messaging and ensure effective lead nurturing.
- Represent OTIV at industry events and fairs to enhance our visibility and expand our network.
