The Business Development Representative (BDR) – SaaS role is based in Prague and focuses on generating new business across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This position is well suited for those who are resilient and motivated by direct outreach. Phone conversations are central to the job, and persistence in the face of rejection is important. Direct calling is a primary activity, with email and LinkedIn as supporting tools.
What you will do
- Dedicate about 90% of your time to outbound calls with prospects in German-speaking markets. LinkedIn and email supplement your outreach.
- Identify and contact target companies across the DACH region, focusing on connecting with decision-makers and qualifying new leads.
- Conduct discovery calls to uncover business needs, pain points, stakeholders, and timelines, and assess fit for IceWarp’s SaaS solutions.
- Set up BANT-qualified meetings for the Sales team.
- Transfer qualified opportunities with detailed context and recommendations for next steps.
- Keep Salesforce CRM updated with accurate data and current statuses to support forecasting.
- Share feedback from the market, including reasons for rejection, competitive insights, and use cases.
How success is measured
- Number of qualified meetings arranged and opportunities created for the Sales team.
