Our mission is to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to overcome employment barriers and embark on fulfilling career paths, while also collaborating with employers to cultivate effective, sustainable workforces.

The Career Coach plays a vital role in equipping individuals with disabilities with essential job-readiness skills, ensuring they are prepared to secure and maintain employment in the community. This position involves providing personalized pre-employment and on-the-job training through individualized coaching and small group workshops, including participation in the Transitions to Work Program.

This program offers career seekers ages 16 to 35 valuable internship experiences with esteemed employer partners such as Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Brockton Hospital, and NewBridge on the Charles. The Career Coach not only prepares participants for these internships but also offers continuous support, individualized coaching for job placement, retention, and career advancement. Additionally, this role includes training and advising employer partners on effective strategies for engaging with individuals with disabilities, developing robust job leads, and providing job placement assistance.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with businesses across the Greater Boston and Brockton areas, possess a strong understanding of employment barriers, and show a commitment to ongoing professional development.
