Weekday's client is launching a quick commerce platform in Gurugram, Haryana, with a focus on delivering essential products for parents and children. Supported by Blume Ventures, the company is expanding quickly and entering a crucial growth stage. The Category Manager will help define and execute the strategy for assigned product categories.

What you will do

  • Lead planning and forecasting for your category, including demand planning and inventory optimization.
  • Track and analyze sales, margins, conversion rates, and growth trends to assess category performance.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, address category gaps, and resolve operational inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to achieve category goals.
  • Create and manage dashboards, reports, and data models to inform business decisions.
  • Develop pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies using data-driven insights.
  • Contribute strategic recommendations and support business planning for leadership.
  • Promote ongoing improvement in category results through testing and analysis.
