Position Overview: Category Planner

Role Summary and Impact

Openmind, a part of WPP, operates as an integrated agency model, drawing talent from across WPP to expedite the European transformation of Nestlé's media function. This role is vital in utilizing advanced data and technology capabilities, fueled by WPP's AI investments, to maximize Nestlé's media impact.

The Category Planner will be an integral member of the ZEUR Food & Confectionery team, presenting an exciting opportunity for a confident cross-channel media practitioner to significantly contribute to the strategic planning of various multichannel strategies for Nestlé while enhancing client leadership skills.

In this role, you will have diverse planning responsibilities that will elevate your skills beyond those of a typical planner. You will collaborate with a dynamic team committed to delivering best-in-class planning for Nestlé and OpenMind, pushing industry boundaries while maximizing brand returns.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the ZEUR Food & Confectionery Strategy Leads in all media strategy-related tasks, including:
    • Defining target audiences, building and analyzing data in Audience Origin
    • Comparing media landscapes and differences across countries
    • Collecting information from local markets
    • Engaging with publishers and platforms for inquiries and requests
    • Creating detailed Production Plans
    • Defining strategy and generating actionable insights
    • Developing PowerPoint presentations
  • Support the ZEUR Food & Confectionery Category Lead with data analysis and strategic recommendations.
