Strong desire to assist children with autism Patience, empathy, and ability to collaborate in a team setting Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test if not conducted in the last year Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Physical capability to engage in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds

About the job

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this rewarding position, you will have the chance to positively impact the lives of children with autism.

Your role will involve working directly with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Utilizing evidence-based strategies, you will teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills while helping to diminish challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about supporting children with autism in achieving their full potential. Patience, compassion, and teamwork are critical qualities we are looking for. Comprehensive training will be provided, ensuring you feel equipped to help each child, regardless of your prior experience. This role requires physical stamina, as children can be unpredictable and will often require movement. Comfort with physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds is essential.
