Qualifications

Genuine passion for aiding children with autism. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and teamwork skills. Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and a Tuberculosis test (if applicable). Must pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

As a Behavior Technician, you will engage in one-on-one interactions with children, executing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will employ evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living skills while minimizing disruptive behaviors.

Ideal candidates should be patient, compassionate, and thrive in collaborative environments. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to support each child, regardless of prior experience. Please note that this role can be physically demanding; you should be comfortable with activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
