We are currently looking for a Medical Assistant to join our Tacoma, WA clinic. In this role, reporting to the Clinic Director, you will have a remarkable opportunity to make an immediate and enduring impact in a flourishing organization.
We are in search of a dynamic Medical Assistant who embraces challenges and thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven team environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit patience and compassion, as our clinic often serves individuals during vulnerable moments. It is essential for our staff to instill belief in our patients, enabling them to gain confidence in themselves through a non-judgmental approach.
While empathy is vital, strong organizational skills are equally important for this role. As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include conducting lab draws, preparing lab samples, managing medical supplies and inventory, responding to patient inquiries, maintaining the lab area, and performing various back-office tasks. This position is critical to ensuring precise record-keeping, as our program is founded on a scientific approach to addiction medicine and operates under strict regulations set forth by credentialing agencies.
