Chief of Staff – Performance & Execution

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive performance management system utilizing AI-driven tools, establishing KPIs and performance metrics across R&D, Product, and Go-to-Market strategies. Mentor and challenge department leaders to uphold high-performance standards, accountability, and execution—assertively pushing back at senior levels when necessary. Establish a reward framework—oversee and refine bonus, equity, and commission structures that reflect performance outcomes directly. Incorporate elite operational rhythms—introduce performance rituals, resilience frameworks, and execution systems inspired by the world's top-performing organizations. Expand your team—begin as a solo operator and build a team of direct reports as the performance function grows alongside Almedia. Qualifications Proven experience building performance systems from the ground up within a fast-scaling startup environment (50–300 employees). Demonstrated capability to engage with C-level executives—influencing, challenging, and aligning senior stakeholders across various functions. Hands-on expertise in designing compensation frameworks—bonuses, equity, and commissions linked to measurable performance outcomes. A successful track record of cultivating an accountability culture in dynamic environments—experience introducing OKRs, KPIs, or performance metrics that have been effectively implemented.
